Description

This adapter connects Victron Cerbo GX devices to ioBroker via MQTT.

The Victron Cerbo GX is an advanced monitoring and control hub for Victron Energy systems, including solar chargers, battery monitors, inverters, and other energy components.

Configuration

  • IP: IP address of the MQTT broker
  • Port: MQTT broker port (default: 1883)
  • User/Password: MQTT authentication credentials
  • Client timeout: Timeout in seconds for MQTT client connections

Web interface of the Cerbo

The web interface of the Cerbo (GUI v2, http://<cerbo>/gui-v2/) can be opened through ioBroker, behind the login of ioBroker and also with HTTPS or through the remote access of ioBroker:

  • Tab in admin: The adapter starts a small web server (default 127.0.0.1:8098), and admin (>= 8.2.1) passes the tab Victron Cerbo GX on to it under /proxy/victron-cerbo.0/. Only administrators may open it. 127.0.0.1 is enough if admin runs on the same host, otherwise select an address that the admin host can reach.
  • ioBroker.web: Select a web instance in the settings, and the Cerbo is reachable under http://<iobroker>:8082/victron-cerbo.0/, without an own port.

GUI v2 connects to the MQTT web socket at the root of the host (/websocket-mqtt); the adapter rewrites this address in the page so that the connection goes through the same path.
